Fire on the mountain — the traveler abroad.

Dwell as a guest, softlyThe Wanderer

For one passing through, posture decides weight.

Lü is fire on the mountain — fire the guest, mountain the host. Its subject is the guest state: not the owner, no foundations, every step borrowed. Lü's wisdom is softness — no forcing, no deep entangling, no drawn-out campaigns. A passerby builds nothing lasting, yet can leave a light, clean impression.

A line: the traveler petty and mean — thus invites calamity. Spend your strength on small reckonings and the disaster is self-invited. As a guest, stinginess is the worst policy: in a borrowed position, the more you calculate the narrower it gets; loosen your grip and the road widens.

Practice This week spend half a day somewhere you have never been — a street corner, the next town, another edge of the park. Watch how you hold yourself among strangers.
In the four domains

01Career & decisions

You are in someone else's territory — new market, new role, new city. Travel light, keep bonds loose but correct, and win the small trust first.

02Love & bonds

As a guest, tenderness works better than claims. Bring your manners and your humor; do not try to own the hearth in week one.

03Wealth & resources

Keep the home-base income intact. A wanderer's cash should be portable, simple, and lightly held.

04Body & mind

The traveler's discipline: sleep in the same hour, walk daily, one suitcase of habits. Roots carried inside, not planted outside.

Timing & action

Move like a good guest this month: small fire, small shelter, great courtesy. Do not buy the house you are only visiting.
